Try Hockey For Free is exactly what it means - come down to the rink (with a bike helmet & winter gloves), get some skates and a stick and give hockey a try at no cost!

Please plan to arrive 30-minutes early (12:30pm) to sign-in, gear-up, and have a safety talk before hitting the ice. If interested, the follow-on will be the Learn to Skate program which has a "Learn to Hockey" component (levels 1-4) to get your new hockey player working on skating, stickhandling, and other hockey skills before potential Summer clinics or our next season that starts in October.  More information at www.nmaha.org regarding this event and your local youth ice hockey association (New Mexico Amateur Hockey Association, NMAHA) for Rio Rancho and Albuquerque's west side.
